SOLAS Mental Health Recovery in Local Communities

An evaluation and documentation research project of the SOLAS Model of Mental Health Recovery in Local Communities. The SOLAS model has been implemented in the rural and remote North Queensland regions of Charters Towers, Hughenden and Richmond, Ingham, Burdekin and Palm Island. The model takes a community development and community capacity building focus to support local communities to respond to the mental health support needs of people at a local level.

A project funded by Queensland Alliance through a Sector Development Grant provided by the Department of Communities, Community Mental Health Branch.
